(KPL) Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Bouangeun Saphouvong, received here a courtesy visit of Russian Ambassador to Laos, Mr Vladimir Plotnikov.On this occasion, Mr Bouangeun, expressed congratulation and highly valued the mission of the Russian Ambassador who has contributed to the development of the cooperation ties between Laos and Russia.
Russian Ambassador informed the preparation for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Russia and Laos.
“The Russian Ministry of Culture would organise the Russian cinema week-end in Vientiane, from 29 October to 2 November, during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Russian-Lao diplomatic relations,” he said.
